Asset Intelligence Research is an independent consultancy that provides investment research to financial advice firms across the UK. Asset Intelligence Portfolio Management offers discretionary fund management.
Intended for professional clients only.
Formed in 2009, Asset Intelligence Research was initially created to help IFA firms and wealth managers who required the support of an investment department but didn’t have the resources to build their own team. From those humble beginnings, Asset Intelligence Research has since grown into one of the most successful and respected independent investment consultancy firms in the UK, with over £4.5bn of client assets under advice.
Key to our growth has been our approach. We pride ourselves on our independence and integrity. We are 100% unbiased and do not work on either a contracted or consultancy basis with any providers (fund management groups, platforms, insurance companies etc) and thus do not accept any money from fund providers.
And talking about independence, being located centrally (Leicester) ensures our thoughts and outlook remain independent of the dated ‘London city old boy’s network’. It also helps to keep us free from geographical bias.
Another area we pride ourselves on is our people. When it comes to recruitment, we have a very clear philosophy as to the elements that blend together to create a winning team. Our management team is made up of experienced individuals who are all leaders within their own field, whether that be investment management, marketing or compliance. Sitting alongside our management team is our research team. This team is one of the most enthusiastic, intellectual and passionate investment teams you will ever meet. Having partnered with the top universities in the UK to support their financial education programmes, we have gained access to some of the brightest graduates in the UK. Our research team not only provide the traditional support you would expect, but they also bring new ideas to an often dated industry.
Asset Intelligence Portfolio Management received its regulatory approvals in November 2019. It was set up to focus on what was lacking amongst the current DFMs in the market.
